This privacy policy describes how UNKD collects, uses and protects your personal information on PurpleForge, a project operated by NGO “UNKD”.
1. General provisions
This Privacy Policy governs the processing of personal data of users of the UNKD website and its projects, including this one. We are committed to protecting your privacy and personal information in accordance with the applicable legislation of Ukraine.
1.1 Consent and double opt-in
Joining the waitlist requires two steps. Submitting the form stores your address in a pending state and sends you one confirmation email. Nothing is added to the list until you open the link in that email. If you never open it, the entry stays unconfirmed and receives no further messages.
The confirmation link works for 7 days and only once. Requesting a new one replaces the previous link.
2. What information we collect
We may collect the following information:
- Email address.
- Optionally, the professional role you select on the waitlist form.
- Information you provide through a contact form.
- Technical information: IP address, browser type, operating system.
- Usage information: pages you visit and time spent on them.
Name and surname are not requested on this site. The waitlist form asks for an email address only; the role field is optional.
3. How we use your information
The information collected is used to:
- Respond to your questions and requests.
- Provide educational services, including waitlist and launch notifications.
- Improve the quality of our website and services.
- Comply with legal requirements.
- Prevent fraud and maintain security.
We do not sell or rent your address, and we do not add you to unrelated mailing lists. Every message we send can be unsubscribed from.
4. Protection of information
We apply appropriate technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against unauthorised access, alteration, disclosure or destruction. Your information is stored on protected servers and transmitted using encryption.
5. Disclosure to third parties
We do not sell, exchange or transfer your personal information to third parties without your consent, except where required by law or necessary to provide the service.
This site is served through Cloudflare, which processes request metadata as our infrastructure provider. Form submissions are protected by Cloudflare Turnstile; the verification token and your IP address are sent to Cloudflare to confirm the request was not automated.
Confirmation email is delivered by Resend, acting as our email processor. Your address is passed to Resend for that delivery only. See the Resend Privacy Policy.
6. Your rights
You have the right to:
- Access your personal data.
- Request correction of inaccurate data.
- Request deletion of your data.
- Restrict the processing of your data.
- Withdraw your consent to processing.
